- The Sports Index proprietary indices are composite averages of the individual values of publicly-traded corporations within the sports and active leisure as well as game and amusement sectors
- Sports stock market portfolios include publicly-traded companies which derive a majority of their revenue directly from sports and active leisure, and games, toys, amusement, and digital entertainment
- Companies at or near the top of the industry and which have substantial market capitalization and a large presence in said industries, plus many OTC and smaller exchange-listed corporations
- Focus includes products, services, advertising, sponsorship, events, branding, media, and ancillary sports business sectors
- At present, we do not attempt to maximize returns. The foremost purpose is to provide an industry barometer - a bellwether index of leading companies
- The $ports Index and The $ports Game Index are both non-weighted
- In total, we track more than 1,000 publicly-traded corporations listed on dozens of exchanges globally
