Sneaker and athletic apparel provider Nike Inc. (NKE:NYSE) fiscal 2026 third quarter results, per Businesswire. Nike did beat both earnings and revenue projections, per Seeking Alpha. However, a weak full-year outlook and decline in China sales resulted in a steep midweek drop-off in share price, per CNBC. ETFs with "heavy exposure" to NKE shares spotlighted by Seeking Alpha. "Nike can't fix its China problem and that's tanking its stock," writes Wall Street Journal. "Sportswear discounts hit outlook," writes Bloomberg. Although struggling Nike brand Converse may have located a potential suitor in Authentic Brands, according to Bloomberg Law, "As Converse continues to struggle, Nike CEO Elliott Hill shrugs off sale speculation," writes Footwear News. "China isn't Nike's only problem as Europe remains 'highly promotional,'" writes Footwear News. The questions for investors are, is Nike now a value play to buy the dip, or is there an even lower floor ahead? Does Nike's Converse unit hold any clues?
